Uptown Kitty NYC provides cat sitting with home visits in Uptown Manhattan. Service areas include Washington Heights, Inwood, Harlem, the Upper West Side, Hamilton Heights, Morningside, and Manhattan Valley.Currently, any of the following areas outside of the listed neighborhoods are subject to a $5 surcharge. We currently can visit the following neighborhoods in The Bronx: Mott Haven, Concourse Village, Kingsbridge, and Riverdale. There are no added fees or service area limitations for clients who would like to board their cat(s).

Uptown Kitty NYC focuses on providing local, loving, and professional cat sitting and pet care.The current services offered are:Home VisitsAt Home BoardingOvernight Stays (only after meet and greet and if both parties agree)Medication Administration (dependent on temperament and medication)Pet care for other small animals such as guinea pigs, hamsters, birds, turtles and small snakes.Cat Transportation (If needed for boarding or other events)Other cat care assistanceOther services not listed based on request (plant watering, mail pickup, and more)

Home visits and boarding include:Daily photo and/or video updatesFeedings and water changes (water fountain cleaning as needed)Litter box scooping for every visitPlaytime, pets, cuddles, and brushes

Meet and greets for new clients gives us the opportunity to meet each other and go over the logistics of care for your cat or cats. This gives us an opportunity to go over your cat's routine, home access, feeding instructions, and anything else I should know.I'll ask for information such as:Your cat's name and personalityFeeding instructionsLitter-box routineMedication instructions, if applicableVeterinary contact informationEmergency contactBuilding/home access instructionsAnything else that helps me care for your cat properlyAt meet and greets, key exchange is highly suggested unless you would like to hold on to the key until a date closer to the first date of service. If that occurs, there is a $10 key pick up fee added to your invoice.

Currently Uptown Kitty is unable to provide twice a day visits to all service neighborhoods, except Washington Heights. Instead, I can provide extended once a day visits of 45 minutes or 60 minute visits for the needs of your cat or boarding. Twice a day visits are only for residents of Washington Heights, depending on availability.

Uptown Kitty is able to provide medication on a case by case basis. Medication that requires close physical and hands on contact with your cat, can only be done if your cat is a calm and not aggressive/ reactive. Yes! Uptown Kitty cares for multiple cats for home visits and boarding. There is a $5 surcharge for home visits which homes that have more than 3 cats.

Cat sitting is the main service provided but Uptown Kitty loves all animals. If you require small pet care such as guinea pigs, hamsters, birds, turtles, fish, lizards, and other pets, please submit a request form to go over logistics of care and pricing.Currently, I am unable to offer dog walking or sitting services. My apologies!

Uptown Kitty is flexible with home visits and additional services and I will try to accommodate your request and service dates to the best of my ability. If there are instances where we are unable to do a meet and greet before services but you have home access instructions available for me, that helps greatly. Uptown Kitty can try to accommodate a request made last minute as well. If I am not available, there is a substitute sitter than can be sent in my place who is a cat lover as well.
